GUIDE: TON (GRAM) WALLET COMPARISON

Best TON Wallet 2026: Keeper (Tonkeeper), My Wallet, Walt, Ledger

For most people the best TON wallet in 2026 is Keeper — the new name of Tonkeeper. It is self-custodial (your keys stay on your device), runs on iPhone, Android, Mac, the web and as a browser extension, and has GRAM staking and swaps built in. Pick My Wallet (formerly MyTonWallet) for a desktop app on Windows or Linux and extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Walt (formerly Telegram Wallet) is the easy option inside Telegram, but it is custodial by default and isn't available in the US or UK. For large amounts, use a Ledger. TON was renamed Gram (GRAM) in June 2026 and holdings converted 1:1 automatically, so there is nothing to swap.

TON is now GRAM and its wallets got new names. Keeper (ex-Tonkeeper), My Wallet, Walt (ex-Telegram Wallet), Gram Wallet and Ledger compared, US included.

TON Is Now GRAM — and the Wallets Were Renamed Too

Toncoin (TON) was rebranded to Gram (GRAM) in June 2026. Ledger's support page puts it plainly: holdings convert to GRAM at 1:1 automatically, with no swap, migration or action needed. The blockchain is still The Open Network, so your address keeps working.

The wallets followed. Tonkeeper is now Keeper, MyTonWallet is now My Wallet, Telegram Wallet is now Walt, and the web wallet at wallet.ton.org is called Gram Wallet. Telegram also added Telegram Money, a self-custodial wallet built into the app. Older guides still use the old names — they describe the same products.

Keeper (formerly Tonkeeper): Best for Most People

Keeper is self-custodial — in its own words, 'No email, no KYC, no custodian': the keys stay on your device. It runs on iPhone, Android, Mac, the web and as a browser extension.

It stakes GRAM without giving up custody, swaps across networks without bridges, and holds more than GRAM: it also supports TRON, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana and several other networks. You can pay on Fragment with it for Telegram Stars and usernames.

In the US App Store, Keeper has 4.5 from 3,902 ratings (checked 30 Oct 2026).

My Wallet (formerly MyTonWallet): Best for Desktop and Browsers

My Wallet is self-custodial and runs almost everywhere: iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux, the web, and extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

It stakes GRAM and USDe, aggregates swaps, keeps several accounts side by side and shows Telegram Gifts and other collectibles; its site cites a CertiK audit. US App Store: 4.8 from 487 ratings.

Walt and Telegram Money: Wallets Inside Telegram

Walt — @walt in Telegram, formerly Telegram Wallet — is custodial by default: 'Walt is a custodial service that securely manages your private keys.' It also offers a self-custodial DeFi Account, where you hold the seed phrase yourself.

Walt is not available in the US, the UK or other restricted jurisdictions, and it has no App Store app: it runs only inside Telegram.

Telegram Money is a different product: a self-custodial wallet on TON built into Telegram itself (on desktop, main menu → Money). You can turn off its cloud backup or rotate the signing key without changing the address.

Gram Wallet (wallet.ton.org): The Web Wallet From the TON Docs

The TON documentation lists wallet.ton.org as a self-custodial web app that needs no installation and supports regular wallets, Jettons and NFTs. It is open source, and it now also has iPhone and Android apps and a browser extension under the name Gram Wallet. Its App Store developer is Anyway Labs, which also makes My Wallet.

Ledger: Best for Large Amounts

Ledger supports GRAM: add a Gram (GRAM) account in Ledger Wallet (formerly Ledger Live), stake through the built-in P2P.org app, or connect the device to Keeper or My Wallet. One limit from Ledger's own page: a Ledger Nano S can't send GRAM jettons.

Is a TON Wallet Available in the USA?

Yes. Keeper, My Wallet and Gram Wallet are self-custodial apps in the US App Store, and Ledger works in the US too. The exception is Walt, Telegram's custodial wallet, which isn't available in the US or the UK.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1
Install Keeper (formerly Tonkeeper) from the App Store or Google Play, or add its browser extension.

3
Open Receive and copy your GRAM address.
4
Withdraw GRAM to it from an exchange on The Open Network (TON) — send a small test amount first.
5
Turn on staking in Keeper if you want to earn on the GRAM you hold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which TON wallet is the best?

For most people, Keeper (formerly Tonkeeper): self-custodial, on phone, desktop and browser, with GRAM staking and swaps built in. My Wallet (formerly MyTonWallet) is the pick for Windows, Linux and browser extensions, Ledger for large amounts, and Walt for convenience inside Telegram if you're outside the US and UK.

Is a TON wallet available in the USA?

Yes. Keeper, My Wallet and Gram Wallet are self-custodial apps in the US App Store, and Ledger supports GRAM. Walt, Telegram's custodial wallet, is not available in the US or the UK.

What happened to Tonkeeper?

It was renamed Keeper. The Tonkeeper site now points to keeperwallet.com, and the app in the stores is called Keeper: Crypto Wallet — the same self-custodial wallet, now holding coins on several networks besides GRAM.

What happened to Telegram Wallet?

It is now called Walt (@walt in Telegram). It is custodial by default, has an optional self-custodial DeFi Account, runs only inside Telegram and isn't available in the US or UK. Telegram Money, built into the Telegram app, is a separate self-custodial wallet.

Do I need to swap TON for GRAM?

No. TON was rebranded to Gram (GRAM) in June 2026, and Ledger's support page says holdings convert 1:1 automatically — no swap, migration or action needed.

Can I keep GRAM on a Ledger?

Yes. Add a Gram (GRAM) account in Ledger Wallet, stake through P2P.org inside it, or connect the Ledger to Keeper or My Wallet. A Ledger Nano S can't send GRAM jettons.

Do TON wallets charge fees?

The wallets are free to download and use. You pay only the network fee for each transaction, typically under $0.01 for a plain GRAM transfer; sending tokens such as USDT or swapping costs more.
